Trust me. You want a private connection moniter. Most moniters have 2-channels... this has 10... Easier to find a channel that doesn't interfere with things like electronics, cell phones, cordless phones, etc. Two receivers are better than one... one for your bedroom and one for the living room/ kitchen/ or where-ever.
