It IS possible to bankrupt your Student Loan!
For anyone in financial straits who feels hopeless about massive student loan debt, this is a MUST READ. It is written in layperson's terms and explains step by step why it has been virtually impossible for people to discharge their student loans in bankruptcy. Also see Alan Collinge's book The Student Loan Scam. This is a public issue that needs to be addressed by Congress. Check out studentloanjustice.org.
WTF?!?!?!?
I ordered this book from Amazon less than a month ago. When I opened it, I was deeply confused. While the cover and back of the book are exactly the same as shown, when I opened it, I discovered--much to my horror--the ENTIRE book is 'Understanding Water Polo: A Guide to the Game of Water Polo for Players, Parents, and Fans' by Dante Dettamanti. No lie! I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I can't help but wonder if this is some kind of joke on the part of Sallie Mae to silence Chuck Stewart from spreading valuable information about discharging student loans. I wish I were joking. Amazon, WTF?!?!
