| If a picture's worth a thousand words, a movie's worth a million. Some of these are movies your children have surely seen, but the summary may help you better appreciate their appeal. Others may be new to you - and I'll tell you why they're important. Movies are a powerful force in shaping values and parents can use that power to their advantage. Don't underestimate your child's ability to get into black and white, or even subtitles. Snuggle up to watch these together and if some of your children don't read yet, read them out loud. These are films our family has treasured for years and are worth adding to a personal DVD library. They are also available from Netflix and at many public libraries. Enjoy! | ||
