It's a one shot deal, and if you do not get it right on the first application, it looks worst than not having a screen guard at all.

Nope.
Slowly and with great care I was still entirely unable to get this on seamlessly. You get one shot with this, no pulling it off to try again, not even slightly forgiving. It's much thicker and less user friendly than say the apple covers for the iPhones, for which I am the go to gal for all my friends who need theirs put on properly. Mine went in the garbage.
