A Versatile Essential for any Grater!
I needed this item because I'd misplaced my original one. You can not only use this for the Borner V-Slicer, but with other hand held graters too!

borner food safety holder
its listed as an add on item for the borner mandolin which i also purchased, ahem------IT COMES WITH THE MANDOLIN !!! should be listed as a replacement part.

Tricked by another review
An earlier review warned that the V-Slicer did not come with a safety holder and it had to be ordered separately, so I did.
The V-Slicer did in fact come with the safety holder, so I have 2. It's not a lot of money, but it is a waste.
