Tracfone provides nationwide prepaid wireless service using the nation's leading cellular providers to create a national footprint covering 99 percent of the U.S. population. This gives you connectivity everywhere cellular service is available. You can use your Tracfone across the U.S. and if you move, you can relocate your wireless number with just a phone call.

You can buy bundles of minutes (which must be used within a set time limit of between 90 to 365 days) from the Tracfone web site on your home PC or directly from your phone's web browser. For example, if you purchase a block of 120 minutes of airtime, you'll need to use that within 90 days of your first use. When you buy additional airtime minutes, your Tracfone service is extended automatically by another 90 days. Tracfone also offers international long distance calling to over 60 international destinations (including Argentina, Brazil, China, Mexico, most European countries, and many more), which deducts the same amount of minutes from your phone as when you make calls to destinations within the U.S.

This phone ships with a number of handy Tracfone services, including free voice mail, free caller ID, and free call waiting. Phone Features
Weighing in at an ultra-light 3.1-ounces, the super-slim W376g fits comfortably in your hand and flips open effortlessly to reveal a large and vivid full-color 128 x 160 screen and streamlined keypad. Instead of an external LCD, the W375 sports a series of unique, light-up icons that signal new messages, low battery, and other events. The VGA camera lens is housed above this display. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control while an internal antenna supplements the phone's sleek design. Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad. Use the phone's stereo-compatible 2.5mm headset jack with your favorite stereo earphones or hands-free headset. Great phone and great service.
I usually don't write reviews, but I just want make a few comments about Tracfone. I got my Motorola tracfone stolen a month ago and Tracfone was kind enough to transfer my minutes (over 1000) to a new Tracfone. They didn't have to do this but they did. As far as the phone goes - this Motorola w376 is the best tracfone you can get. It feels solid, it has great battery life, camera, good clearity and unlimited double minutes. The tracfone service is very good. I've never been unable to use my phone and I travel alot and everywhere. To sum it up, this is a great phone and a great company and you can't go wrong here.

Motorola W376 TracFone is Back.
I am pleased that Amazon has seen fit to return this fine phone to their stock, even if it comes from Target.com. This phone has many features for the just under $30 price and I highly recommend it. In addition to the description, the camera has a 4X telephoto lens and produces acceptable pictures. The "phonebook" holds 500 entries and talk time is closer to 8 hours. To access the owners manual, go to TracFone.com and select this model. From there you may download and print the Motorola manual.
This is my second cell phone from TracFone and have never experienced a problem with reception or customer service. Their coverage is as good as the "big" networks without the need of a more expensive contract. Now, this phone comes with double minutes for the life of the phone. For a modern looking phone with lots of extras, this is a very good buy. Get one.

Great little phone with one BIG caveat!
My first cell phone, and after a lot of research I went with TracFone over Net10 as I wanted something for emergencies/light use only as cheap as possible. Got on the Value Plan at TracFone after purchasing this phone-with the DMFL of this phone, that gives me 100 minutes a month (minutes rollover every month) and an automatic renewal every 30 days (don't have the hassle of keeping your plan from expiring) for only $9.99/month-can't beat that for price? If I need more minutes, I can still buy airtime cards etc.

Now for the BIG caveat-they've crippled the Bluetooth/USB function on this phone! I see a lot of folks wondering how to get pictures etc off this phone-since the USB/Bluetooth file transfer function has been crippled, you have to e-mail pictures to yourself at a cost per minute!
From research I knew of this, but figured I'd never use the Bluetooth except for earpiece hookups etc, so my preference of the W376g keyboard over the LG600G TracFone determined my choice. When I connected via Bluetooth to my Sony NV-U94T GPS, the phone function works fine (can make/receive calls hands free from the GPS), but when the GPS offers to receive transfer of my phonebook from my W376g, no go-I've hit one of the crippled Bluetooth functions!

PROS
Cheapest plan I've found for emergency/light use

Like the entire keyboard lighting up at night
Excellent sound quality
FM radio (works/reception great) with RDS

CONS (and this is a biggie)
Bluetooth/USB file transfer functions crippled!
Web browswer key easy to accidentally hit (while scrolling). If you do so, 1/2 minute air time gone!

If phone choice makes little difference to you, and you really hate the Bluetooth/USB file transfer function being crippled, you might opt for TracFone's LG600G. Far as I can tell, it's darn near equivalent to the W376g (no FM radio) but apparently they've not screwed with the Bluetooth/USB file transfer functions.

Rated 3 stars-if they had not screwed with the Bluetooth/USB file transfers, I'd up it to 4 or 5 stars.

EDIT: Just got OEM Motorola Stereo Handsfree Headset # CHYN4516B / #HS120 for Motorola Q/ MPX220/ A630/ V710/ E815/ E816/ V365/ V361/ V360/ V325i/ V323i/ V235/ ROKR E1 Cell Phones (from SF Planet) and am really impressed with the FM radio. I live in a fringe reception area, and the radio pulls in FM stations 45 to 60 miles out-much better than the radio on my Zune 80 does!
