This handsome watch from Movado's Gentry collection offers a sporty blend of function and style. It features a round silver dial with bold Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 and bar markers elsewhere. A subdial at the 6 o'clock position registers the seconds, and luminous hands and markers make the dial easy to read, even at night. The dial is framed by a stainless steel bezel with engraved hour markers and coin-edge detailing. The watch is set in a 39 mm solid steel case and presents on a smooth black leather strap with a matte finish and sporty contrast stitching. It closes with a buckle clasp. Other notable features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and precise Swiss quartz movement. Water-resistant to 30 meters, this watch can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water; however, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming.

An Atypical MOVADO May Be Just What You're Looking For
This watch is more impressive in person than in pictures.

The look is more timeless and classic than those watches with the traditional Movado look (the look is reminiscent of, although -- for obvious reasons -- not exactly identical to, certain Bulgari watches). However, the price and quality are still Movado, which means you get a rather fine quality watch for not too much money (particularly at Amazon's discounted price).

Amazon's service was, as has been my experience, consistently excellent. I received the watch rather quickly, and it came nicely packed with all the original boxes and paperwork. In my opinion, if you want a nice watch in this price range, you really can't go wrong.

nice but not upto expectations
Bought this watch for my husband. nice dial but was very disappointed with the quality of the belt. looked like some cheap strap rather than the top quality you expect from Movado. all in all would have kept it if the belt would have been better quality
