Luminox snob5
After buying my first Luminox I became a Luminox snob. I now only buy Luminox. Here are the reasons I think this watch is great:

- Swiss made
- the band is expensive Italian rubber
- The bezel is fiberglass (the one criticism of the original Navy Seal Luminox watch was that the bezel was plastic and would thus wear down over time)
- the crown is screw-down (as all expensive dive watches are)
- the case back is screw-down (unlike the original, which had tiny screws; i.e. it is easier to replace the battery on this one)
- the watch has enough "heft" without being too heavy (i.e, it is just the right weight)
- Very, very bright at night
- One fact that is overlooked: in every Luminox I have had, not only has accuracy been excellent, but the minute, hour, and second hands line up EXACTLY with the markers. that is not true on all watches. Also, I like the long hands and the thinness at the end: you see exactly what time it is, down to the second, and I love that precision.

I have one of these and they are great. I once dropped it from about 5 feet up, and it hit a weight I had on the ground. There is now a tiny mark on the steel case, but it works great. In short: these watches are TOUGH.

Overall a good watch4
I have owned this watch for 9 months and have experienced no problems with the functionality of the watch or the durability of the band.

Positives:
Function
Looks
Bezel
Comfort

Negatives:
Crystal - it scratches if you look at it wrong (I know get Sapphire next time)
Band - the end of the band is not securely held by the rubber hoop.

For me, I would spend the extra money and get the Sapphire because the crystal will be difficult to read in another year of abuse.

Great so far ...5
The watch is just as described. Very bright in low to no light. The yellow face stands out in the daytime. Very durable - just the right weight. I hope to use it for many, many years to come. Oh, and WatchZone was very prompt with delivery of the watch.
