Customer Reviews
It's so-so.
For what this case costs, I guess I was expecting a little more.
The silicone case itself is basically the same as every other inexpensive silicone case out there. There's no screen, camera lens, or click wheel protection built in to the case, though it does come with chintzy plastic stick-on protection.
The top of the case has a cutout for the hold switch, which is a nice touch. And the bottom gives you full access to the iPod's headphone jack and port. The Apple MA365LL/D Nike+ sensor can be used with this case without any problem. The included plastic stand is kind of gimmicky, and almost certain to be lost in a week's time.
This may be specific to the black color, but it attracts EVERY type of dirt, dust, and lint, and looks kind of gross shortly after taking it out of the box.
There's really no reason to buy this over the cheapest silicone case you can find.
Nano 5g Protection
Upon the release of the iPod Nano 5g, there weren't any protective skins available the first or second week. Leaving my Nano unprotected. After searching, and searching I discovered Incipio dermaShot and found they had what I needed, the only downfall to what they had was the color selection at the time was very limited to the color selection of the available iPod Nanos... The construction, fit and texture was on point. This was a great buy.
Dirt magnet!
I didn't want to pay $25 for a nano sleeve so I settled on this cheap protective sleeve instead. It does the job well enough. It comes with a plastic screen protector and a cap for the bottom connector that should've been attached to the main sleeve because I guarantee you'll lose it pretty soon. The plastic screen protector does not stick all the way to the edges. My main gripe would be that the silicone sleeve is a dirt magnet! It'll attract lint and dust and kinda hard to clean off. Otherwise it does its job protecting my little nano.
