Make your own decision
While "Beach Music" or "Surf Rock" is a valid label for this music, simply because someone may or may not remember such & such movie does not mean they will not enjoy it for what it is. And what it is is simple, good guitar rock. Not to mention, the soundtracks to Tarantino movies use plenty of music from this genre & you don't have to be old to have seen his movies.

So listen to it & make up your own mind as to whether it is music that you enjoy, rather than letting someone else tell you what suits you.

I was all set to delete this, but "Fortune Cookie" rocked! I haven't even looked up los straitjackets to see what's meant by beach or tarantino! Felt good to my ears and great to do workouts.

Beach Music
If you loved the beach movies with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello and Jim Hutton and Elvis...this will take you back to the background dance music all those movies played.

If you are too young to know the people mentioned above-then just take my word...it's not for you. :)
