No bulb
After receiving this item I searched several stores to try and find a bulb that would fit the socket. I finally gave up and returned the lamp.

HARD TO FIND THE BULB!!
Beware! Lamp is cute and doesn't take up much space, but the bulb that it requires (type s) is verrrryyyy hard to find. Look in the appliance section of your local home store.

Nice Sturdy Lamp
The lamp is nice and heavy so it doesnt tip when moving the top....and is actually larger than I thought which was good.
The only complaint is, not that it didnt come with the bulb, but the advertisers who sell it, didn't STATE it didnt come with the bulb, nor what type so we parents can go out and get it BEFORE it arrives...so our kids can use it.
But luckily enough, I had a bunch of extra ceiling fan bulbs (because I bought the wrong sizes a few times) and one of those fit the lamp. So you can find this bulb at any home depot, etc, in the light bulb ceiling fan section of bulbs.
FYI, it says in the lamp shade, its a "type-S" bulb, 40 Watt max.
Nice lamp and works great so far....daughter loves it.
