Product Description

First it was a hit movie. Now it's a much-demanded trade paperback. Get the whole CLERKS story in this essential new book of laughs and profane liberties. From the pen of Writer/Motion Picture Director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Chasing Amy) comes three all-new adventures of Dante, Randal, Jay & Silent Bob, and all the customers of the Quick Stop Mini Mart that first appeared in CLERKS, his surprise critical and commercial debut film. These brand new tales follow the exploits of America's favorite slacker icons as they seek out the rarest of Star Wars toys, become employees of Kris Kringle, and get the scare of their lives in a crucial, much-talked-about, lost sequence that did not make the film's final cut. As in the now-classic feature film of the same name, all the mysteries of life are dissected through the myopic lens of pop culture under a full-color photo cover featuring slack cultural icons, Jay and Silent Bob. The funeral parlor lost scene is of much interest to film afficionados and features an all-new introductory sequence. Clerks is presented in black and white to coincide with the film, also in black and white.

Quite Possibly Too Funny For Some5
This is so funny you may laugh yourself unconscious. You may want to check with your doctor first. Composed of several episodes from the Clerks comic book series, Kevin Smith authors some of the most laugh outloud comic adventures I've ever read. Reprising the characters from the Clerks movie and guest appearances from Smith favorites Jay & Silent Bob, Clerks: The Comic Books is a highly recommended good time.

Class A Comedy5
If you are a fan of Kevin Smith and his films you will no doubt enjoy this collection of the three comic books based on his film "Clerks". If you are easily offended though by vulgar language this may not be the book for you. The book follows the adventures of the disgruntled clerks Randal and Dante. This book is sure to keep you out of your seat, and on the floor in tears of laughter. I liked it mostly for the "lost scene" segment of the book, where it took a supposedly "cut scene" from the film clerks, and turned it into one of the funniest things I have ever read. You have to read it to belive it. So if you are a fan of vulgar comedy, or of Kevin Smith, (I suppose the two go hand in hand) then get YOUR hands on this book today.

Very funny4
This is one of my comic collection's best, along with chasing dogma. This is a very very funny comic book, with the same humor as the movie. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the funeral comic didn't make much sense in context of the movie. Why would Dante get so mad at randal if it was somewhat his fault too? The first comic in this though was well worth the price.
