Hammer Malone and Killer Brag had extricated their cars.
As one, with a crash of gears, they launched their vehicles after Heller.
Two explosions in the tangled mass of cars behind them. I knew it would be the fuel tanks going up.
Flames shot into the air!
The other drivers were running away.
But the cars of Hammer Malone and Killer Brag bore down on Heller!
He turned to face them.
Narrated by the killer who traveled 22 light years to seal the fate of Earth, AN ALIEN AFFAIR races non-stop from a deadly Long Island speedway to an extraterrestrial's secret base in Turkey, from a battle on the observation platform at the top of the Empire State Building to the pleasures in the basement appartment of hte sadistic Miss Pinch.
The aliens are here. A calico cat, a jar of mustard and a host of credit card companies may well determine the success of their mission.

Customer Reviews
Even Scientologists can't make it through these books
Notice how the number of glowing five-star reviews of the "Mission Earth" books drops drastically after the first book? This series is so mind-numbingly, stupefyingly boring that even Scientologists can't get through it. Of course, most of them aren't even reading the book reviews on amazon.com -- they've been ordered to post glowing reviews of Hubbard's books here, in the hope that you'll be interested enough to fall for the bait and get sucked into the cult of Scientology.
Actually, "An Alien Affair" is one of the better books of a truly awful series. Why is this book better? Because Hubbard spices up the story by sticking the main character, Soltan Gris, into a disgustingly twisted sexual affair with two lesbian man-hating women! See Hubbard's drooling descriptions of what he thinks lesbian sex is like (complete with BDSM scenes involving tobasco sauce)...and if you can stick with it, wait until the next book, "Fortune of Fear," in which Soltan Gris cures these women of their lesbianism by raping them!
Wow, this SATIRE is just so FUNNY!
Fantastic book, fantastic series
This book is absolutely brilliant, a really witty and satiric look at life etc. Inkswitch rocks!!!
non-stop excitement, fun - very hard to put down
After I read Vol 1 Mission Earth I was hooked. This series paints a picture you wish you could be a part of...to go into and DO SOMETHING about saving Earth. The author makes what you are reading seem so REALISTIC as though he knew ahead of time what would happen on earth.
You have got to read this book. But I recommend you start with Volume 1 - it will give you a full meal...then on to the rest of the volumes all the way to the end.
What a great read.
