Customer Reviews

If you get over your hangups, you might enjoy this.4
I'm sick of reading all these reviews from Skinheads both racist and non (and a Marxist? *shudders*) trying to one up each other on how "Skinhead" this music is or isn't. The fact is, whether you're racist or not, if you like good Oi! music then you will like the music on this album. It accurately reflects the music the "Boneheads" listen too, and if you decided to quit whining about the racist lyrics long enough to actually give this music a chance, you might just think it sounds pretty good! Its good music to go along with a good movie.

Shut it!5
If you are going to listen to this cd or watch the movie, then PLEASE stop whining about White Power skins. Go listen to your awful ska and stay out of good RAC and oi music scenes. I personally don't understand how you can say how much you hate WP skins, but then try to listen to the music or watch controversial movies (and say how good they are!) or read the books. Pick a side already!

For those looking for a serious review of the CD:

A few actual good songs, the rest are mostly scores and lines from the movie. Putting on the Boots has been covered by a slew of bands and is one of the more popular songs from the movie. The actual songs on soundtrack capture the movie and its mood perfectly.

Good.4
This is a good album, end of story. Whether you are anti-racist, non-racist, racist . . whatever. Its an awesome album. Its Oi! in style and sound, regardless of the lyrics. If you don't like the racist lyrics, then don't listen to them and enjoy the music.

As far as being "true skinhead" music. I think its true enough. The concept of "true" is debatable. As far as I'm concerned there are ignorant viewpoints on both sides of the cult today so all you anti-racist or non-racists can get off your high-horses. Quit whining about how "true" you are and just be a skinhead. Enjoy what this CD has to offer for the most part.
