Response
The song you're looking for from the fight in the subway is "Velocity Shift" by Overseer, its on their debut album 'Wreckage'. The song when Abigail is testing her bow is "Starting Over" by The Crystal Method, from their newest album Legion of Boom. I was hoping too that these were on the soundtrack.
The CD is great the DVD is not.
If you are buying this special edition of the soundtrack for the bonus DVD (as I did) all I can say is don't.
The actual soundtrack CD is just what you expect. If you've seen movie you know exactly what you are getting. Some excellent music is compiled here, all of which appeared in the movie.
The DVD, however, is a very big let down. A very poorly animated short cartoon clip. Actually it looks more like Flash animation than actual normally done animated material. There is no dialouge, not real story and even more poorly done action scenes. It's a tremendous let down.
So if you want the soundtrack I would suggest the regular version.
Great Stuff
To help the person before about Abagail loading the music onto her iPod for the first time the song playing is Party In The Morgue (Club Mix) by Kool Keith and The Undatakerz. It is track 6 on the soundtrack. Pretty good song actually. Anyway this CD is chock full of cool anthems both rap and dance. Fatal by the RZA would have to be my fav. track at the moment. Its has the best first 30 seconds out of any song. Skylight by Overseer is another meaty, beat anthem to do exercise to. Overall a great CD. BUY IT!
