This is a score, not a soundrack
This CD is the musical score, not a collection of the songs heard in the movie. The score is fast-paced guitar and accompanyment with heavy emphasis on beat and sympatic rhythm. While not a typical orchestral soundrack, I found this to be enjoyable and fun to have in the background.
Use Caution Buying this "soundtrack"
If you are like me and saw this great popcorn movie, then you know the terrific rock songs that were in the movie.
Classic Rock and New Rock songs from such great bands as Motorhead (Ace of Spades), AC/DC (If you Want Blood, You Got It), and Wolfmother (The Joker and the Thief) to name a few.
The CD soundtrack has NONE of these songs on it so buyer beware. Even the Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB) says that "Please note that songs listed here (and in the movie credits) cannot always be found on CD soundtracks. Please check CD track details for confirmation."
Be aware of this before buying.
