Customer Reviews

Avoid this Blu-Ray2
I enjoyed the film Wrong Turn. However, Wrong Turn on Blu-Ray is a big disappointment. The picture quality is pretty awful. The image is soft and fine detail is pretty much non-existent. This is a bad transfer. The sequel Wrong Turn 2 suffers from the same subpar picture quality on Blu-Ray. Avoid both films. Stick with the original DVD editions if you already have them. The audio is decent with a lossless audio track not found on the DVD version, but the picture quality is unacceptable. I've seen films made 30 years ago that look spectacular on Blu-Ray. This is a crappy high definition release. Be warned.

Pretty good movie - BAD PQ3
This is not that old a film. The Transfer should be way better then this. It is very soft almost none of the detail that you expect from Blu ray. Is this the fault of DNR gone crazy??? The sound is awsome and the film itself is a fun little throwback to the horror films of the 70's. But man the picture quality sucks!

Demented Hillbilly Shootout!5
Hot Dang; I seen this before, but not this good.
Guys and Babes get lost and have major locals problems. It's a long way from 'Old Dark House" to "Wrong Turn"; but, this popular horror path has alternating tension and relaxation and tension in succession as art and manipulation. And, it's an action film! Sublime, mildly sexy and sensational for sure. But it's also gory to the point of prohibiting sensitive sorts.
Other than periods of grain, and soft moments, the picture is great for it's period; actually, very good....and the sound DTS Lossless is a big-shaker with surround ambiance, even better. After DVD, happy to have re-bought it in BD if you care. And this Blue-ray is AOK
