This is the best live action movie I've seen this year. Not only is the story well told, the FX are better than anything else this year. This film's budget was $30 million. Astounding. Everybody should see this movie.

Right now it's a three way tie between this movie, Up, and District 9 for my favorite movie of the year. Of the three this one killed nazis the best. I love this movie!

I really do love this series and this movie is a nice balm after the bitter that was Transformers 2. While I still like Prisoner of Azkaban the best (nothing beats Buckbeak) this movie rests squarley on the shoulders of its young actors, who display a comfort and ease that is uncanny and fun to behold. It's Harry Potter, see it.

Forget the current teenybopper light vampire sensation and seek out this movie that actually has substance, story, and quality. Twisted, funny, violent. Or what vampires should be.

Pretty good little flick, although a step down in terms of quality from Kung Fu Panda for Dreamworks. The standouts are Bob and Insectosaurus. Hopefully we'll get a sequel where the monsters can really shine.

A vastly superior remake over the original film, this movie is more sensible but also slightly more realistic. Not a good time at the movies but a good, horrifying Horror film.

A very good little Horror film with a small cast and mucho terror. A very interesting creature design that owes more than a little bit to John Carpenter's The Thing. Still, a great way to dismember 80 some minutes of your time. A cool movie.

If more people went and saw films like this, or if more films like this actually made it to theaters, quality cinema might actually make a comeback. A psychological sci-fi drama that is really cool and deserves to be seen.

A typical teen slasher that doesn't apologize, boasting some strong characters and an even stronger supporting role for Carrie Fisher as the shotgun toting house matron. I had fun with this.

This movie has some of the best disaster fx to come along in quite awhile. It's also pretty entertaining. If you don't expect too much from the acting this is an enjoyable movie that will provoke discussions amongst you and your friends.

Is this movie really all that good? Probably not. But it does help to accentuate my growing distrust of any and all banks and it does have one really, really awesome shootout scene. There can never be enough conspiracy theory type movies. Worth a rental.
