I have tried to watch this movie 4 different times; twice trying to start it in the middle but could not get more than 15 minutes into it. It's bad, boring, trite, and unrealistic. I like George Clooney as an actor but even his over-the-top performance and lousy southern accent couldn’t prop any life into this stellar dude.

It takes about 10 seconds to realize that the criminals in this film are stupid, not the idealized highly intelligent criminals that most Hollywood films idolize. Once you get that then the rest of the film because boring and predictable. The worst part is that the fact that they are trying to make a horrendous murder into a comedy once you realize that the film actually becomes pretty repulsive.

Tom Hanks is a great actor and did a great job, but the fact is this movie is trite and silly. If you watch this and enjoy it, well, ahhhhh, as the movie says - Stupid is as stupid does.

Do I really need to comment about this – Nice special effects – terribly boring characters that we don’t really care about if they get killed. Lots of gore and violence, slow, plodding and it’s all been done before and done much, MUCH better.

It’s sad to see, but we have finally lost James Bond and now we have Die Hard Bond. Bond movies used to show the chase with some action, now all we have is action and very little chase. This movie was so fractured that you couldn’t really even tell there was a chase.
