My favorite Sylvester Stallone movies. Both the Rocky and Rambo series are good, but ultimately, Rambo is the cooler character, and all 3 Rambo films stand on there own.
Rocky AnthologyRocky Anthology

Coming in at a close 2nd is the Rocky anthology. Part 3 and 4 are my favorites, while part 5 remains my least favorite, because, although good, I didnt like the ending(Rocky needs his money back!).
Cliffhanger (Collector's Edition)Cliffhanger (Collector's Edition)
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $1.36
Stallone's best movie besides Rambo and Rocky, and his last major blockbuster, that is, until Rocky 6 and Rambo 4 are released.
Judge Dredd [Region 2]Judge Dredd [Region 2]

This movie is not as bad as everyone says. Although it doesn't follow the comic 100%, it's still entertaining.

A very underrated Stallone film that works very well. It's one of Stallone's more "low-key" movies, but still manages to keep the action flowing. One of Stallone's best performances.
Demolition ManDemolition Man
Buy new: $11.49 / Used from: $1.99
Although this movie is very outlandish, and sometimes tries too hard to be funny, it's still very entertaining, and features one of the best Stallone villians(Simon Phoenix) played by Wesley Snipes.
CobraCobra
Buy new: $7.49 / Used from: $1.86
Stallone's best "cop" movie that featues some outstanding chase sequences, VERY SCARY villians, and probably the best action scene ever filmed in a grocery store.
Over the TopOver the Top
Buy used from: $2.89
One of Stallone's more "family orientated" movies, that, although seems too "over the top" at times, still manages to entertain even the biggest of action fans.
Tango and Cash (Snap Case)Tango and Cash (Snap Case)
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $0.04
Although not as good as the "lethal Weapon" movies, and a little corny, this "buddy-cop" movie is still fun to watch. Stallone and Kurt Russell work well together. This is Stallone's funniest film.
Daylight [Region 2]Daylight [Region 2]
One of stallone's more serious roles. Although it needed a little bit more action, and a little less drama, it still works, particlarly with the good score.
Stop! Or My Mom Will ShootStop! Or My Mom Will Shoot
Buy used from: $7.45
Not as bad as what critics say, but still not that good. It succeeds in a few departments, and lacks in alot more, but not a bad comedic performance from Stallone.
DrivenDriven
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $0.01
This movie could have used a WHOLE lot more, and Stallone didn't have a big enough part, but it's not horrible. The race sequences are some of the best I've seen.
Cop Land (Exclusive Director's Cut) (Miramax Collector's Edition)Cop Land (Exclusive Director's Cut) (Miramax Collector's Edition)
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $2.99
Another one of Stallone's best performances, but unfortunetly, that doesnt save the weaknesses this movie has. Not bad, but doesn't live up to it's expectations.
Eye See You (aka D-Tox)Eye See You (aka D-Tox)

This movie went straight to video, but it's not that bad. The story drags in places, but it's still better than alot of stuff being released in the theatres.
NighthawksNighthawks
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $8.77
This movie takes a while to get into, but it does have a good story, although it shows it's age. The surprise ending is worth watching it for.
AssassinsAssassins
Buy new: $5.79 / Used from: $1.28
This movie could have been so much more than what it was. The movie drags...alot. But the shooting battles between Stallone and Antonio Banderes are entertaining.
Get CarterGet Carter
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $0.29
I see the artistic-ness of this movie, but it doesn't really work. The fight scenes are way too quick, and the movie gets boring after about 10 minutes. Stallone plays a good hit-man, though.
The SpecialistThe Specialist
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $0.89
James Woods plays a good villian, but too much focus is lost in flashback scenes, and the action sequences never evolve into what they could have been.
Paradise AlleyParadise Alley
Buy used from: $32.98
The Rocky formula is used in the wrestling ring in this movie, in which Stallone's brother is the cental character, unlike the cover suggests. Not bad, but corny.
F.I.S.T.F.I.S.T.
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $2.89
Agood drama Stallone made in his earlier days as an actor, but again, this is another Stallone film that doesn't evolve into what it could have been.
VictoryVictory
Buy new: $5.79 / Used from: $1.72
The Rocky formula is slightly used on the soccar field this time. A good story, but really shows it's age. For Die-Hard Stallone or soccar fans only.
