Grand Funk just exhibits pure energy from the 70's. I just love this cd. A must have for any Grand Funk fan.
Better than the LP.... but....
As I contemplated burning my old LP to a CDR, I figured what the heck, maybe it's in print as a CD. And sure enough it is. Now I have all of the original cuts in stereo. Plus I have some new tracks. The original tracks were worth buying the CD for (I am a long time GFR fan), but as far as the extra cuts go, well, I'm not enough of a fan to be excited about them. If anything, the inclusion of these cuts here is a good explanation of why they weren't released earlier. Ok, yes, they are 'other versions', and a live cut...but for the most part they do not hold my interest with their simple lyrics and less-than-complete flow....
A Masterpiece of the best American Rock Music!
This album from Grand Funk Railroad, is simply, pure, tough, raw 70s ROCK MUSIC AT ITS BEST!
Mark Farner sings like a furious soldier, while Don Brewer and Mel Schacher do their own with the bass guitar and the drums.
If you're a Rock drummer or go crazy for drums playing, give a try to this album!
