Comfort for the wide foot at last!
I have very wide feet and can never find shoes that fit comfortably. While vacationing on the beach, I saw crocs for sale in a shop and my tired feet insisted I try them on. I purchased the standard croc (cayman) in turquoise. After wearing them for three days, the foot pain I had endured for years was almost gone. I decided I needed a pair that was not quite so ugly in a neutral color so my kids bought me a pair of brown Mary Jane's for Mother's Day. These are a little more narrow than the Caymen's but the are still comfortable. The strap that goes across the top of your foot can be stretched if it is too tight. The side of the shoe (where the strap is attached) can dig into the side of your foot and rub a blister so make sure you stretch the strap enough to prevent this from happening. I managed to rub some really good blisters with my other crocs but now my feet have toughened up on the sides. All in all, a very comfortable shoe.
Mary Janes!!!!!!!!
These shoes are extremely comfortable. They look great in chocolate, and Mary Janes look more professional than Cayman or Beach. My principal wears hers as well, so can we. They are great shoes for standing for a long time, as well as for chasing kindergartners and others. If you are a teacher you probably want to wear these.
I just love them!!!!!
Crocs Mary Janes/Women's
I just bought my first pair of Crocs - Mary Jane style for Women.
In general, I've found them to be very comfortable, colorful and fun to wear.
I really wanted black but ended up purchasing fuchsia as it was the only color in my size. The helpful person in my local shoe store informed me that the shoes are made in four different locales which may account for the lack of consistency in how the back strap fits. On some shoes, the back strap extends beyond the heel of the shoe. It took several tries to find correct fitting shoes with proper straps. Also, they are very popular and sell out fast. My suggestion is to look at the side of the shoes to see if the back strap is extending beyond the heel or at the heel or narrower than the heel.
Think of the ankle - how the foot is narrower there.
On my shoes, the two straps are not quite even although they look ok.
Of course, one of my feet is longer than the other - just to complicate matters.
I'm ready for an additional pair.
It does not feel like plastic which is what I thought it would feel like prior to my local purchase.
I recommend them in spite of the strap issue.
Perhaps Crocs will fix this strap issue.
