Stable and Firm
This foam roller is an excellent buy. I bought the largest full round and have already used it to massage my muscles and to perform some stretches. The foam is really dense, so the roller keeps its shape. My trainer has one and he has a variety of people of differing weights using it - and it looks brand new! The quality is super! Perform Better also includes an exercise sheet with advice on how to get the most out of your purchase.

Perform Better is an excellent company and sent it out right away. I had it within a couple of days after ordering. They also give you reliable tracking information. One other thing they did that was fabulous was that they emailed me a copy of the invoice. They are a top notch company! Great for IT Band
I am extremely happy with this product. I have been just starting to run on a regular basis and my knee began to hurt in a way that I had never experienced before (like I had pulled something on the inside of it). A friend suggested that I might have pulled my Iliotibial (IT) Band and suggested that I get a roller for some stretching.

After doing some online research on IT Band Syndrome, it seemed like that is what I had and most of the advice I found suggested rest and stretching with a roller. After doing some further research on rollers I ended up ordering this product. It has worked fantastic. I went with the firmest model because my research indicated that it would provide the quickest/best results. The downside is that stretching with this is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but you can literally feel it working so it's worth it in my mind. The stretching instructions that came with the roller are a huge plus. In just a couple of days I could go out and run again with no problems and now I use it before and after a run to keep everything loose. The ability to use it on my back and other muscles is a definitely another great reason to get it. I've pretty much always hated stretching but this makes it almost enjoyable.

On a side note, the shipping was super-fast. I used standard shipping and got the product the same day confirmation went out that it was sent to me. I don't know if that is normal, but it certainly was appreciated.

Saved my race!
I'm obsessed with foam rollers. They've been the only way I've found to stretch my hips and IT bands, which are tight and painful after running. So imagine my extreme annoyance when someone pilfered the one and only foam roller from my gym a week before my half marathon (and on the day of my long run when I needed it most).

I put in my order for the PB foam roller but estimated delivery was Oct. 13 - Oct. 16 and my half marathon is on Oct. 12, so I went out and bought a much crappier version at a local sports store to tide me over (which turned out to not really work because it wasn't firm enough). And then lo and behold, the PB foam roller arrived on Oct 9th, two days after I ordered it and a solid three days before my race! It's nice and firm and was delivered fast even with plain old regular shipping - perfect!
