This book is unique in that it presents mysteries by geographic location. So you can see what mysteries exist near you. The book is filled with an extraordinary range of mystery creatures and phenomena, with very good scientific explanations where possible. I have told many people of the scientific explanation for zombies as described in here. Highly recommended.

Great book for anyone interested in Australian mystery animals. It starts with the animals most likely to exist, then heads towards the creatures that are more likely to be myth. It has maps and descriptions of sightings and is an excellent resource. Some of the photos are quite intriguing. I live near some of the places mentioned in the book. So I keep my eyes open just in case.

There are some weird creatures down there. If you want to believe in aliens, why not take a look at the strange animals that inhabit our oceans. They are amazingly freakish. The pictures in this book are excellent.

If you are ever stuck for ideas about what to write about, this book contains heaps of fun and imaginative starting points. Just open to any random page and ideas pop out at you.

I love Ben Caldwell's style of artwork. His drawings are so full of life and personality. They inspire me to get back into drawing.

This book beautifully illustrates practical ways we can overcome relationship problems and how we can experience levels of enjoyment we did not know were possible. To be read again and again.

This book is disturbingly good.It explains what it’s like to die by various means.I’m still haunted by Dr Nuland’s description of how death is so clinical.In the past, more people died at home, with loved ones present. Death was more real.Now people die screened off from society in a hospital connected to machines, many times all alone.I feel more compassion for the dying after reading this book.

If, like me, you have come to recognise the foolishness of macroevolution, this book will appeal to you. It is very satisfying and quite witty. It will help restore your sense of wonder and meaning. We need more books like this.

A fictional account of life in Australia's early convict jails as experienced by an innocent man. Often disturbing and moving. Near the end, I was so hooked I had to pull over and finish it while parked on the side of the road.
