Amazon.com Product Description
Designed for dogs and puppies eight weeks or older and weighing up to 22 pounds, this topical flea treatment provides long-lasting, effective control against fleas, ticks, and chewing lice. Its active ingredient fipronil (kills newly acquired adult fleas) has been combined with the trusted insect growth regulator (S)-methoprene, which kills flea eggs, larvae, and prevents pupae development. Effectively targeting all stages of fleas, the fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, and continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in long-lasting activity against fleas and all stages of four major ticks, including the one that may carry Lyme disease. Research demonstrates that a monthly treatment of Frontline Plus kills adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae for up to three months and kills ticks for at least one month. Easy to use, simply apply contents of the applicator through the animal's fur to the skin level between the shoulder blades. Frontline Plus remains effective even after bathing, water immersion, or exposure to sunlight, without the need for re-application. Achieve maximum protection with monthly applications, all year round, but be sure not to apply twice within 30 days. Each packet includes six topical applications for six months of protection.

Customer Reviews
It wasn't all there
I ordered this product and it showed up OK but when I opened the box it was actually a 3 month supply. Amazon wanted me to return the pack of three to them and then they would send me a package of 6. I suggested that they should send me a package of 3 to make up the difference and the customer service person indicated that this simply could not be done and that I would have to return the 3 pack *at my own expense* and then they would send me a 6 pack. I asked if I could just get a partial refund. Again, this was unacceptable. So I had to return to them the 6 pack at my own expense. And I did that.
THEN... here's the kicker...
When the 3 pack that should have been a 6 pack got back to them, they informed me that I would have to take a full refund of the original purchase because they were OUT OF STOCK on Frontline in the weight class I needed.
So I had to wait for it to be credited back to my card. I'm still out of shipping BOTH WAYS and no frontline in hand.
Moral of this story?

Aint no fleas on me
Frontline works the best!! I use frontline on my 70 lb dog as well as my 12 lb one, the 12 lb being who this item was for. We walk in the woods and fields on a daily basis and I have yet to find a tick or flea on either one of my dogs. Why don't they make frontline for humans??
Still The Best
I've been using Frontline Plus for my dogs for several years. If there is a better product for the prevention of fleas, ticks, heartworm, I don't know of it.
