fundraising for dummies
A reasonably good book with a lot of "How To" tips. Particularly good for beginners in fund raising. I don't particularly like the "Dummy" format, but got some good "nuggets" to use for my situation.
Boring and not helpful
I have some idea what fundraising is. Don't buy this unless you don't know that some people ask other people for money.
This book covers the basics but nothing else.
Do you know what an Annual Fund is? How about Planned Giving? Great! You know more about fundraising than this book will tell you.
Avoid this book and buy a book on selling or on marketing instead.
Fundraising for Dummies a must
I purchased this book in order to begin the process of learning how to raise funds for private non profits. The book is packed with useful information on how to do it and written in easy to undertsand and implement language
