The 3MTM 1860 AND 1860S Health Care Particulate Respirator and Surgical MaskS are NIOSH approved as a Type N95 respirator to meet OSHA requirements and CDC guidelines for TB exposure control. The model 1860 may be used during laser surgery, electrocautery, and other procedures involving powered medical instruments. Intended to help reduce wearer exposure to airborne particles in a size range of 0.1 to > 10.0 microns generated during these procedures. Fluid resistant to provide .99% BFE against microorganisms and help reduce potential contamination and exposure of the wearer to the spray, spatter, and aerosol of blood and body fluids.(20 masks per box)

Surgical Masks good for asthmatics4
I have asthma, and these masks are good for travel or bad air days. Despite their thickness, they are very breathable. A bit bulky, but worth it to prevent breathing in bad stuff.
The company shipped these pronto - good service and a good price.

This seller increased the price of this item $10 just today, probably because Swine Flu is all over the news. Seems a little shady to me. These are fine disposable masks from a reputable brand, but go to google instead and you'll find them for half the price.

Flu virus size: 50-120 nanometers.

120 nanometers = .12 microns.

N95 filter: designed to block 95% of particles larger than .3 microns.

These are fine against dust, smoke, dirt, and even some biochemical agents. But there ought to be a circle of Hell for people who use panic to jack up the price and sell them as "flu masks."
