The "Glow"5
I wasn't looking for a primer but I thought "What the heck, no harm in trying some". I went into Sephora and the person that worked there suggested the Nars primer. I put it on the next day and WOW, it was a God sent. It gave my face such a fresh, beautiful glow after the makeup was on. I got so many compliments from friends and family.

I am a faithful Nars fan and will use the product for a very long time. It's a little pricy but it's great. Just 4 dime sized dabs is all you need and it lasts a little over 2 months. It's not at all greasy, feels more watery, great for combination skin.

Works with minerals and doesn't break me out.5
Love the mineral makeups, but find I definitely need a moisturizer as a base for them. Tried many moisturizers, including oil-free, noncomedogenic, "pro-active for acne", etc., which, incredibly, all still caused blemishes. The NARS Makeup Primer is not oily, does not break me out, and the botanicals work perfectly as a moisturizer for my complexion, while giving an even surface for the minerals. I use it as an eye makeup base and on my lips, too, and it doesn't "creep," burn my eyes, cause lip pencil to feather, etc.

What is this stuff?1

The first primer I tried was from DHC, and I loved it. I thought "all primers are the same", and ordered NARS on a promotion. It is nothing like DHC, which was smooth, and I loved it. NARs primer to me, was some quirky lotion, that made no difference at all in how I applied my makeup. It cost a lot, and didn't do anything for me. I do however love a stick cream foundation NARS offers. It is great. Won't order the primer again, but will order from NARS.
