Product Description

Continuing in the tradition and spirit of French Polynesia, NARS launches Monoï Body Glow II to complement the original, best-selling favorite, Body Glow. Capturing Monoï de Tahiti oil in its purest state, Monoï Body Glow II begets glowing, healthy-looking, and naturally fragrant skin. Monoï de Tahiti oil is the result of macerating the Tiare flower (Tahitian gardenia) in refined coconut extract for at least ten days, slowly infusing the oil with nutrients as well as a delicate, natural fragrance. Each bottle of Monoï Body Glow II retains an original Tiare flower to capture the essence of this unique process. A daily care product, apply this lightweight, multi-purpose beauty oil for daily moisture and instantly luminous skin.

Customer Reviews

Best body oil I've found!5
I actually purchased the "mini" set with both the shimmery Body Glow and the Body Glow II, because I wanted to make sure it's worth the money for the full size. And it is, at least for the Body Glow II! (Haven't tried the shimmer yet.)

Smells delightful, not quite as strong as other monoi products I've used (Bath & Body Works has a nice, inexpensive line) but better quality. The oil isn't overly greasy, the scent is noticeable but not overpowering - at least on my skin. I couldn't decide how to use it at first, so I ended up mixing about 3-4 drops with a pump of Eucerin lotion. How perfect! I got a healthy glow that really emphasizes my tan, with a light beachy scent. I imagine it works just fine on its own, I just didn't want to work on rubbing it in evenly. I've also heard it's nice spritzed on the hair; I guess you'd just mix a few drops with spring water in an atomizer. A little seems to go quite a long way.

My only complaint - the bottle is a little awkward. The neck is quite small which can make the process messy, what with dribbles down the side and such. Don't want to waste any of this wonderful oil, especially given the cost! Overall, I'd highly recommend if you're a fan of body oils!
