Beauty from pain! cute but it cuts like an evil sharp knife!
I have the purple ones and they are CUTE. However, i wore them once and goodness! i ended up with stage II wounds in the back of my ankles that took more than a week to go away. The back of the shoe digs deep into the skin and it hit my nerves. I've lots and lots of shoes and i've never had a pair this uncomfortable before. Walking out to the street in these shoes was very masochistic. My feet were hurting before i got to the elevator in my building and by the time i'd crossed the street, i had as skin tear. I just wanted to wear them cuz they are soo cute. They run at least a whole size small. I ordered 2, returned the 7M and kept the 7.5 and the 7.5 is what was killing my feet. I didn't even put my feet in the 7m cuz when i tried it on, the 7.5 was killing me. I've never worn a size 8 in my life. if shoes run small, i wear a 7.5, if they run big, i do a 6.5M or 7M. I'm not even sure if a size 8 woulda worked because while i could slip a finger in the back of the 7.5, the shoe curves in such a way that it digs into my feet. Trust me it cuts like a sharp evil knife!
Also, they run narrow. The good thing however is that the little buckle at the top is functional so you can adjust it. That may help a little My feet is almost a perefect mediumm, a little bit towards narrow. i can fit into some narrow shoes and i i thought these are very narrow. If you have borderline wide feet, forget it!
Still, i love how they look. It hurt so much i was moaning while walking and i've yet to put it on for a 2nd time. i still have horrible flashbacks of how i couldn't walk after 3 blocks. I got these for 65 bucks but if 'd paid anymore for it, i'd have returned these shoes. i'm thinking of gifting them. Get these if you believe in beauty from pain.
