About Us
NCFR’s On the Bookshelf webpage is intended to build community by letting colleagues know about new books by fellow members. We enthusiastically encourage NCFR members to allow us to list your books! Through participation in the Amazon Associates program, NCFR receives a referral commission for every book sold through this gateway.

To submit your book for consideration in our On the Bookshelf feature, at least one author or editor must be an active NCFR member. The book must be in the family studies, social sciences-related or otherwise include content that may be of interest to family professionals.

Some publications may not be eligible for listing due to the restrictions placed on us as an IRS 501(C)3 non-profit, non-partisan organization. In order to maintain our tax-exempt status, NCFR must adhere to our mission as an educational professional association, not one affiliated with any political, ideological or partisan efforts. NCFR reserves the right to decline a book listing at its sole discretion. Moreover, inclusion on this list does not constitute an endorsement by NCFR.

Books listed under the Similar Items heading to the right of the screen are suggestions by amazon.com selected from their offerings that they feel contain similar subject matter. This list is not controlled nor screened by NCFR.

Please send in your book information! We need the book title and the name of one author or editor who is a current NCFR member. Send your submission to nancygonzalez@ncfr.org.
