Must read5
While this book is certainly focused on a complete theology of missions, it has a wealth of practical theology for everyday Christians and Pastors. This is not for beginners but certainly every Christian should read this book to broaden their thinking and it is a must read for all church leaders of "evangelical" churches.

Back To Basics4
Having read this extremely comprehensive thesis on Missions I can only conclude that Dr Peters writing is an excellent example of what our morally off center society needs. This work left no stone unturned regarding the Theology of Missions and briefly addressed debatable subjects without completely dismissing them, leaving them open for discussion outside the context of that book. I consider Dr Peters to be a critical thinker and would recommend this book to anyone who has a desire to understand all of the pertinent aspects of missions and missionary work.

A Biblical Theology of Missions5
A Biblical Theology of Missions is a book that is required reading for any missionary we send by our organization. The view of God and His mission portrayed in this book is vital in giving us the ability to remain faithful in our duty when all the romantic feelings of mission life have left and we are faced with some of the unpleasant realities of daily life.
