Here, the reader can witness firsthand the noble spirit and dedication of our co-inhabitants whose homes are under the open sky the swan, the goose, the squirrel, the beaver and even a tiny garden snail. Although generally shy of humans, these animals allow themselves to be photographed, and indeed can even be seen eagerly approaching the lady s gentle offering of favorite foods. The love conveyed is unlike any other full of dignity and grace, yet as deep and enduring as the eternal. All books are printed by ''Soy Ink for Environmental protection''. Review
I think this book is quite good. It appeals to humankind to protect the wild animals. I also hope Supreme Master Ching Hai can guide us in treasuring the Earth and protecting our environment. --~Mr. Hsiao-Yu Tang, Director of Endemic Species Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan of Formosa
The Earth is our mother, our basis, we come from her and we must return to her again. And that s why we need a lot of reverence for life and for Earth, and these kinds of books help. I wish for the book to find a wide audience and many happy readers. --~Peter Weidhaas, President of the Conference of International Book Fairs and Director of the Frankfurt Book Fair from 1975-2000
This book tells us how these little animals have emotions toward each other, and even have names. I m most happy and grateful to the author for that point. --~So Yeon Park , Chairperson of CARE, the largest animal protection group in Korea
About the Author
The Supreme Master Ching Hai was born in Central Au Lac (Vietnam). At the age of eighteen, Master Ching Hai moved to England to study, and then later to France and then Germany, where She worked for the Red Cross and married a German physician. After two years of happy marriage, with Her husband's blessings, She left Her marriage in pursuit of enlightenment, thus fulfilling an ideal that had been with Her since Her childhood. This began a time of arduous pilgrimages to many different countries that ended only when She met a perfect living Master in the Himalayas. Master Ching Hai received the divine transmission of the inner Light and Sound, which She later called the Quan Yin Method. After a period of diligent practice, She attained Perfect Enlightenment. To satisfy the longing of sincere Truth seekers, the Supreme Master Ching Hai offers the Quan Yin Method of meditation to people of all nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds. Her message of love and peace brings spiritual liberation and hope to people throughout the world, reminding all to uphold Truth, Virtue, and Beauty in life.

It is a must have for all human beings
I have never read any kids' collection which is so deeply touching, so divinely beautiful and so cute with all the pictures of little animals like squirrels and the new born swans. Their cuteness were all beautiful catpured. Their growth and the unconditional love from their parents cannot be compared to that from us human parents sometimes. Also when I saw the sharing of food among the litte swans, I feel all human beings should learn from these little creatures where we sometimes are occupied by our greed, inconsideration and selfishness.
It is such a bliss to be able to go into the world of our animal world where our co-inhabitants are already leading their noble lives among our human world. They are definitely a perfect example for us to learn. They are in no way inferior to us at all. I feel I am so lucky to be able to have access the book and write this review!
You will definitely gain more and more upon reading it twice or three times or even more. What I found is the more I read it, the more I gain and the more peace and hopeful I become. Therefore it is a must for us all. It also makes a perfect gift for all of our loved ones.
Deep in my heart!
The Noble Wilds shows the deep nature of animals. Through this book, we come to know for instance that the swans have uncondicional love towards their babies, just like humans do.They forget about themselves and sacrifice 24/7 for the sake of their kids until they can live on their own. And that touched me so much!
Thank you, Lady (Supreme Master Ching Hai), for sharing with us these unique moments you have spent with our noble co-inhabitants, so that we can realize humans and animals are indeed so much alike, all children of God!
Review of "The Noble Wilds"
Not really what I expected. Pretty simplistic commentary accompanying several pictures of "the Wilds". Peaceful and serene, but not really enlightening at all. It looks as if the Supreme Master lives in a beautiful place surrounded by the glory of nature, and I do respect her reverence for life in all forms, and the interrelationship between all of us and the earth. Again though, I did not find this book inspiring in any way, and was rather disappointed by it.
