Great hardware - dodgy software
Update:
They just sent a free update to Destinator mapping software and maps.
This changes my review to 5* and I now recomend this to everyone.
Great features and great software.

Can't be beaten for the price.
Pros:
Half the price of comparable sized and featured units (except software)
5" screen
Great sound
Clear screen
Solid construction
Supports DivX and other movie formats
FM transmitter
Bluetooth connection with phone
Wall and car charger

Cons:
Bulky (but it IS a 5" unit)
Software is cheap, poor quality, and not intuitive (support is working on a solution)

Bottom Line..BUY IT!
I've never once bothered to write a review for any product in my life but I am so impressed with this Invion GPS unit, here I am. I have used few other brands that costs much more than this unit with smaller screens, only difference I can see compared to "brand names" are options that i've never really used or needed. Navigation is accurate, rerouting is quick, picks up signal in reasonable time and never had a dropped signal (in nyc), and yes this unit has an internal rechargeable battery. Make sure you get one with the updated Destinator software (or contact customer service, they will give you a free upgrade) that said, great item that comes with a great price tag. --> and 5 stars for TigerDirect for shipping out so quickly <--

Nice build quality and features-unusable for navigation
I bought this for my wife to use in here 07 Jeep Wrangler. When I received the unit I was impressed by the build quality and the packaging. Here is what you need to know before buying this unit:

-Everytime you turn the unit on you must select the area of the US/Canada that you are in. I am on the east coast and it is very hard to hit the right spot on the touchscreen to choose the east coast.
-If you are putting movies on this unit you will have to buy a larger memory card. The factory memory card must be in the unit for the unit to work so buying a second card just for movies is not an option
-The navigation was unusable. Simple directions around town were WAY OFF base. The unit would eventually get you there but we are talking sending you miles out of your way. I have 2 garmin units, a magellan and a factory toyota and I have never seen navigation logic as screwy as this

I sent the unit back to TigerDirect and they did refund my money. I am giving this unit 2 stars because of the impressive build quality. If you could update the operating system it might be a winner...who knows?
