Works Great!
Just purchased this GPS unit this past week. This is our first GPS device, so I have nothing to compare it to. But, we had a camping trip planned to a state park about an hour away that we had never been to before. We jumped in the truck without any maps, plugged the GPS unit in, loaded the address, and took off. It got us there perfectly. It really came in handy yesterday on the way back when we got caught in heavy traffic on a two-lane road due to a major accident. We made a u-turn, and the device quickly calculated a new route for us. We had to do this a couple of times to get away from the traffic the accident was causing on several roads nearby, but thanks to this NaviBlue GPS, we were able to get around it quickly. I was impressed!
My Naviblue experience.
Best GPS on the market for the money.
That being said, it IS only $150 and doesn't really compare to a TomTom or Garmin. 95% of the time it gets me where I'm going, but that leaves the 5% of the time where it doesn't. Map updates are seemingly nonexistent and Naviblue's website hasn't been updated since before I bought the unit almost a year ago.
Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I probably wouldn't buy another one, but if you just can't afford a more expensive unit this will probably get the job done.
