You'll Get Full Service With Danny Wood's Coming Home Album!5
What can I say about Danny Wood that people don't already know? He's just one of the members of the New Kids On The Block? The answer to that is No.
The real Danny Wood is a talented musician, performer and dancer, a devoted father to his children, and a generous, committed person in keeping his mothers memory alive.

'Coming Home' would have to be one of the best albums I have ever had the joy of listening to. It reflects experiences in life such as love, loss, pain and loneliness, also situations people go through and overcome.
Another way to describe the `Coming Home' album would be a mix of upbeat sounds and ballads.

The song 'Coming Home' tells us the story of Danny's love for his hometown of Boston, where he grew up. It holds a very special place in his heart, and I love the way he is so passionate about the city he was raised in, and when it's time for him to leave this world, Boston is the place he wants to be when he says his goodbye.

'My Angel' is a beautiful and touching song, it's inspirational and reflects the love Danny has for his beautiful mother Betty Wood.
When I heard this song for the first time, it brought tears to my eyes. It is written from the heart and it's a very emotional song that reflects Danny's broken heart over the tragic loss of his mother, and his loneliness and longing to see her again.
A very moving and passionate song from a son to his mother that is sure to bring a tear to everyone's eye like it did mine.

Two other songs on the album that I would like to also give the thumbs up to are 'More Like You' and 'Let Him Lead'. When you listen to the words of these two songs, the love and devotion Danny has for his children Daniel Jr., Anthony, Chance and Vega is too beautiful for words to describe.
Not being a parent myself yet, I haven't gone through these experiences, but when you hear the words to these songs reflecting the love a parent has for their child, it makes you look forward to fulfilling this part of your life.

'Coming Home' is a truly inspiring, beautiful album and I hope everyone gets as much enjoyment out of listening to it as I have, and also writing this review.

Great Music by Danny Wood but NOT GOOD CD by Amazon4
I am fans of Danny Wood for a long time ago. I am familiar with his voice & his Hip Hop or RnB Music. He is brave enough to swift his music to ballad/slow rock music. I appreciate his talent on music and his effort to back on music industry, but if I have to choose I choose his music style on R & B or Hip Hop rather than on Ballad or rock.

One think that I am really disappointed is that Amazon sale this CD looks like original CD but actually not. This CD is manufactured by Amazon not by the original label the Essential Media. I am not understand the meaning of "This product is manufactured on demand using CD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply."

Until the CD comes to me and then I understand the meaning of that terms. Not something the way I expected to, since I bought this for collection purpose.

Not Bad For a Solo Release4
I have to admit, I was not a certifiable NKOTB fanatic (or "Blockhead" as they are called). In essence I never knew Mr. Wood had such a good voice until I heard this CD that was purchased by my friend at one of NKOTB's recent concerts. I wouldn't go so far as to say it is Grammy Award nominating material, but is very easy listening to his voice and quite sweet. "Your Last Day" is quite poignant. I won't be so presumptuous as to say I am definitive in this song's meaning. However, I can guess that it was inspired by his beloved late mother. I can honestly say that song very much touches my heart.

I have yet to give complete credit to Mr. Wood for the entire compilation based on the fact the insert didn't provide any information as to who wrote all the songs and lyrics, and if he played the guitar for all or some of the songs. If I am to assume he wrote all the songs and provided the guitar music for this CD in its entirety then I applaud him for his efforts and give him more credit than just being a "boy band" member.
