Customer Reviews

wish i hadn't gotten it2
I wished I had paid more attention to the negative reviews before I purchased this book (binder of reproducable pages.)
I thought that perhaps the people reviewing this item were being overly fussy, however, I understand now why so many people were unhappy with this item. Several homeschooling websites I viewed seemed to highly recommend the Ultimate Homeschool PLanner, but I don't really see why.
The problems with this Planner are many - but the biggest issue I have is that there aren't many reproducable forms. I specifically was looking for a planner that had many forms, and I was led to believe that this Planner did, but it does NOT. Most of the pages are a 'how to' manual for how to use what few planning pages they include.
Many of the planning pages include things that are of little use - such as expense tracking pages. There are also pages of recipes (WHY?) and a couple of random science expiriments (WHY?) There are also a LOT of pages that include internet resources and local homeschooling associations - mind it that would be associations for every state in the U.S. I think most of us know how to Google - so these pages are also relatively unnecessary.
The point is, once you whittle down this Planner into useful pages, you wind up with precious few.
The one thing that I liked about this planner is it's knowledge inventory. It includes a checklist to keep track of what your children have learned, when. With this, you can fairly easily see if your child is at or near grade level in certain areas. Other than that, I would say pass this book by - it sits on my bookshelf gathering dust, and I ended up making my own forms and planning pages.

THANK YOU for saving me from making a bad purchase. Your comments kept me from buying this organizer, as many put it, in haste. I tend to buy things and never use them and this might have been added to that pile, so, again, thank you for taking the time to post your comments.

This includes nearly every form you would ever need4
From unit studies to state requirements, this planner has it all. All of the forms are very easy to use, and can be adapted easily to customize them to your family and student's needs.
