good shoe, but not quite great.
I love this shoe, it's really great and supportive. I have only one complaint, the width feels true, but the sizing is a little off. I'm usually a size 12W and I have just a bit too much space in this shoe (mostly in the toe area). So unfortunately I'm not really wearing it for running but just as a general after work shoe.

New Balance Women's WR858 Running Shoes a must!!
These running shoes are the best if you have to wear orthotic arches.
I have plantar fasciitis of both heels, and arches fit perfectly in
this type of running shoe. It has a deep seated heel design to accommodate arches and holds up exceptionally well. My orthopedic doctor highly recommends the New Balance running shoes.

Worth the cost
I have a family history of arch problems and i get shin splits from the treadmill. I was looking to finally get a hi-arch shoe so i went to [...] chose the best shock absorbing soles got the model name and bought the sneakers here. My feet feel great. In regular New Balance 505's you feel like your walking on hardwood floors WEARING BOOT S after a while. The mesh over the toes on this model makes them very flexible and breathable. My feet are not sweaty. The arch support could be just a smidge higher but I am happy that these are noticablly more suportive than my regualkr store bought sneakers by a country mile. I don't run in them but i wear theme veryday and everyday I'm glad I bought them. They do run a smidge small. Buy a 1/2 size larger if your sometimes tight in shoes. I'm a size 7 regular or a 6 1/2 wide and these i bought are 7 and i wish i got a 7.5
