Amazon.com Product Description
The Saucony Men's Progrid Hurricane 10 Running Shoe provides the perfect blend of cushioning and stability for runners seeking pronation control and a plush ride. These lace-up shoes feature lightweight breathable mesh uppers in a stylish athletic design. Excellent shock absorption and comfort is achieved with ProGrid technology, which absorbs impact, dissipates shock, and provides a seamless transition from heel through forefoot, as well as dual-density SSL EVA midsoles, which maximize rebound and durability while minimizing weight. Ortholite insoles provide improved step-in comfort with rebound properties, and the included SRC Impact Zone technology provides shock attenuation and sets the foot up for a smooth transition, while Impact Interface technology cushions and isolates heel impact. Arch Lock technology makes for a snug midfoot fit, and the included HRC Strobel Board increases cushioning and comfort. The shoe is finished with a blown-rubber XT900 outsole.

Customer Reviews

Fit and size different from previous Hurricane 10's1
I have been wearing the Hurricane for at least 10 years. While there have been subtle and usually positive changes to the model, this last one is baffling. I had a Hurricane 10, in fact have worn through 2 pairs since last spring. This last one was not even close to what I had been wearing. It felt too small, the fit was strange, and it also felt soft and "smushy", for lack of a better word. Not the Saucony Hurricane I have loved for years. The only other difference between this one and the previous two (which I would rate 5 stars) is the color scheme - green and silver instead of blue and yellow. Are the green ones made in a different factory with less oversight?

Needless to say, I returned them (and got dinged with albeit modest return shipping charges even though I had ordered the same thing in the past and have an Amazon Prime shipping account). It's back to Zappo's for me with regard to shoe purchases of any type. Not sure if I will stick with the Hurricane now. Perhaps I will try another brand.

Running shoe review5
Outstanding running shoe. I pronate badly and this shoe is the best I have worn for stability and pronation control. Service from Amazon was outstanding processing my order and timely shipment.

I really like this shoe5
I weight 185, have medium arches and wide feet. I find them very comfortable , more roomy, less fitted, with a less pronounced arch than an Asics shoe. After 300 miles they are showing a little wear at the outside, rear edge of heel which is where I wear out shoes. I recently replaced the thin OEM inserts with better ones.
