Patrick is author of, Creating Your Own Destiny – How to Get Exactly What You Want Out of Life. This book is the ultimate success road map for high achievers and has sold thousands of copies nationwide since it was first published in July 2001. He is also the co-author of, Inspiring Breakthrough Secrets to Live Your Dreams, published in December 2001.
Patrick, originally from Michigan, graduated from the University of Montana in 1991 with a degree in political science and a minor in Asian studies. At U of M, he also studied Japanese and business management. Upon graduation, he moved to Seattle, and has held various sales-management positions at Fortune 500 companies, including Airborne Express and Avis Rent A Car. Patrick has built a rewarding career in high-tech sales (selling printed circuit boards) and has also interviewed thousands of unsatisfied employees throughout North America. As a result, he has become an expert on what it is that people really want in life!
Patrick and his wife Cheryl, a criminal deputy prosecuting attorney for King County, have lived in the greater Seattle area since 1991. They moved to Bainbridge Island, in September 1997 upon the completion of their home. They are blessed with two young boys. In addition to his busy career, Patrick volunteers his time in his community by coaching youth basketball and baseball. He also sits on the board of directors for the Bainbridge Island High School Business Education Advisory Committee.

What is destiny? Webster's Dictionary defines the word as meaning "fate". Look up fate in the dictionary and you will see that fate means "the supposed force that predetermines events". I believe that this supposed force is our MIND (or brain). If we use our mind properly by taking action and executing our ideas and opportunities presented to us in a way that we are truly capable of, then WE become the supposed force that predetermines the events that occur in our lives. Thus destiny means to me the ultimate purpose (fate) each of us has here on Earth. Destiny is what each of us, as unique individuals, are put on Earth to do, to become. Our destiny reside within us. It is our freedom, the great potential that we have, the supposed force waiting only for our minds to unleash it.
Once you decide what it is that you really want our of life, your mind will be your ONLY competition. When you start to believe and trust in yourself and your own unique passions, you will conquer your mind's current self-limiting beliefs. These limiting beliefs are the only roadblock or obstacle that can hold you back from getting all of what it is that you really want in life. Once you have made this decision to conquer all of your self-doubt and have won this battle of the mind, you will accomplish everything that you have ever envisioned. Your mind will have ignited a fire in your heart to execute your plan by taking daily actions in pursuit of your goals. As you experience this, you will become an unstoppable force of power, fully capable of achieving more success and freedom then you could have ever imagined. Excellent Book
I have read Patrick's book: Creating Your Own Destiny, and I must say that it is filled to the rim with great advice and fascinating topics. Patrick explains a 10 step success road map that is truly ingenous. I would recommend that anybody interested in changing their life should read this book.
After reading Patrick's book, and watching his video, many things have begun to come clearer in my life. I have a better grasp on my future, and I have already started achieving more!

Patrick, you state in your book that you plan on running for president of the USA. If you can take several more steps without becoming corrupt, I'll vote for you. This book was written by a highly motivated young man. He used examples from his own life, but mostly outlined what it will take for each of us to reach our own goals, and dreams. I also found it interesting that he lives on Bainbridge Island. I've been there and it is awesome. One can't help but get a boost of enthusiasm from reading a book like this one. Well worth every penny and minute spent!
