Amazon.com Product Description
The Tissot Men's T-Race NASCAR Watch will complement your need for speed with its tachymeter and three large chronograph subdials. This sporty timepiece is constructed with a carbon fiber case, a stationary stainless steel bezel, and a strong rubber wristband with a secure push-button clasp. A scratch-resistant sapphire window shields the black dial face, which features bold red Arabic numeral hour markers at four, eight, and 12 o'clock. The dial is encircled by a tachymeter, and includes three striking white subdials and a date calendar at three o'clock. Powered by Swiss-quartz movement, the watch is water resistant to 165 feet.

About Tissot
For more than 150 years, Tissot has embodied the innovation and tradition of Swiss watch-making. Based in the Neuchâtel area of the Jura Mountains, in Le Locle, Switzerland, Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile created the watch making company Tissot in 1853. Whether in the technology of its movements, in the research for special materials or in the very functions of the watch itself, Tissot's engineers and watchmakers have developed pioneering timepieces over the years.

Some of Tissot's triumphs over the years include the the Idea 2001 (the world's first plastic watch) released in 1971, the Rock watch (which set the timepiece's movement in a stone case made from Swiss Alps granite) in 1985, and the Wood watch from 1988 (with a completely wooden case). Tissot uses the best movements (from ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse), the highest quality materials (316L steel, 18K gold, titanium) and scratch-proof glasses (sapphire crystal--at least 2500 Vickers).

The company has been involved with high profile sports events since 1974 when they sponsored a racing car in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, France. Since then Tissot's timepieces have been chosen as official timekeepers for world championships in cycling, motorcycling, fencing and ice hockey. And Tissot is currently the the official watch and timekeeper of NASCAR.

Tissot timepieces have been worn by a bevy of celebrities over the years--including Grace Kelly, Elvis Presley and Nelson Mandela--and James Stewart's character L.B. Jefferies wore a Tissot timepiece in Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window." Today the company is represented in a variety of sporting fields by English soccer star Michael Owen, IndyCar driver Danica Patrick, and MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden. Today, Tissot is a member of the Swatch Group, the world's largest watch producer and distributor.

Great watch4
Well its a Tissot, I believe that you will be delighted.
I love sports watches and this is a very beautifull style.
buy it with no concern.

Awesome Watch5
I bought this watch at amazon about 3 months ago. Everybody who has seen it asked me what kind of watch is it... it definitely drives attention.

The execution is flawless... the chrono is a snap to use, and I love the fact that the seconds hand is not the big red hand you see - as in most watches - but the small hand in the 6 clock position... the red hand is for the chrono only.

Saphire crystal has been tested to be scratch resistant and it works.

Carbon fiber inside looks awesome and sets it apart from the rest. The size is perfect... not to small, not to big. Th tachymeter is functional once you understand the logic behind it.

Everything has a chromed shiny look that indicates it is a trendy watch, but not a "look at me", "bling bling" piece of trash... It has just the right balance of sport, class and elegance... I wear it both to sports and social events and feel completely comfortable.

Rubber strap is easily adjustable (start trimming pieces one at a time from each side so you manage a perfect fit)and even if you dont like Nascar or any other kind of co-branding in you watches, nobody can see the Nascar inscription unless you take it off and turn the watch upside down. I also happen to have a Tissot T Race Moto GP (yellow hands) and the same characteristics apply.

Overall its a bargain... you get swiss craftsmanship, a very original and trendy design, functionality, durability and the TISSOT seal of approval.

My "premiere" watch is a Hublot Big Bang 44 Steel Case and Rubber Strap watch which costs around $12,000.00; to be honest I like the Tissot just as much... if you factor in price then I can honestly say that Tissot T Races are hard to beat.
