Mario is back and better than ever. The gameplay is more like Super Mario 64 instead of Mario Sunshine style. Three words - Fun. Fun. Fun.

They should of called it Evolution as this game has changed how this the series is played with the new control scheme. NOTE: Make sure you are using Advanced mode for Sensitivity. Don't use the default. This is one hell of a polished game, the best looking Metroid so far, the best game on the Wii so far (10/2007). This is a must have if you have a Wii.

5 star game. Perfect in almost every way possible. It's essentially the same as the original Gamecube version but, it includes all the extras from the PS2 port, improved controls, and 16:9 widescreen support. The visuals are from the original Gamecube version (yeah!), not the PS2 port. This is a good thing.

Multiplayer is a blast. NO FRIEND CODES! The game uses EA Nation which means, leaderboards, buddy lists, lobbies, etc. There is nothing like this yet on the Wii as far as the online experience. The game supports up to 32-players online. I experienced absolutely no lag and no disconnects. The game is smooth and a joy to play online.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella ChroniclesResident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

An arcade-style "on rails" shooter. You take aim and fire at enemies while the camera and movement automatically guides you through the levels. There is lots of voice over, nice full motion video, great sound effects and of course the creepy music from each of the respective games. The game runs in 16:9 and 480p. Two players can also play through the game cooperatively.
Battalion Wars 2Battalion Wars 2
Buy new: $17.94 / Used from: $10.19
The first thing I noticed was the visuals. From the water to the explosions and even little details like the grass is absolutely amazing. There are also a bunch of FMV scenes which are incredible and fun to watch as well. Took me by surprise because I didn't expect the level of detail presented in this game. In the hands of a good developer, the Wii can really shine.

Geometry Wars: GalaxiesGeometry Wars: Galaxies

It's like Asteroids, Tempest, Galaxian and Robotron all merged together. One goal - survive. You go up against an insane amount of enemies that come at your from all directions. I am amazed at the amount of enemies on screen at one time. It's a total blast.
