Little Comfort for Sensitive Skin3
I have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful with what I use when shaving. I have been a long time user of many of Nivea's shaving products, including their sensitive skin shaving gel and after shave balm. So I decided to give their new Extreme Comfort Shaving gel a try. After using a full can for a few months, I have to say I'm going back to the sensitive skin gel. I had irritated areas included razor bumps and ingrown hairs, that I typically don't get with Sensitive skin gel. While this gel will likely be fine for those without sensitive skin, I won't recommend it for guys with sensitive skin. It does have a fairly mild smell and like their other shaving gel products a little bit of gel goes a long way.

absolutely the best shaving cream that I've ever used5
Nivea Shaving Cream

This is absolutely the best shaving cream that I've ever used. You can get it at Wal-Mart, also.

Highly recommended for people who shave with a blade and want a comfortable shave.

Pretty good4
I've got relatively sensitive skin--get razor burn easily, etc--and decided to give this shaving gel a try. I normally use a shaving cream that I found at Wal-Mart of all places, but they've stopped carrying it and I can't find it anywhere else. First off, the gel works fantastic for less tricky areas like my cheeks. Coupled with my 4-bladed Schick Quatro, I could get a very close shave with just a stroke or two (and we all know that it's repeated strokes that really causes problems). However the areas under my chin where my hair grows with a bit of a swirl pattern, the gel was just 'ok.' Nothing special. My skin wasn't beat up, but it wasn't as nice as the el-cheapo stuff from Wal-Mart.

From a consistency standpoint, this Comfort Gel reminds me of fast-acting foam (the kind you seal up door frames with) as the amount you let out quickly expands to 2-3 times its original size. The first time I used it I ended up with way too much. Start with less than you think you need and go from there.

Overall this is pretty decent shaving gel, but it is not the best I've ever used. I like Nivea products in general, and I like this one as well, but if your skin is more sensitive than mine, your mileage may vary.
