Product Description
12.5" glove with buckaroo walnut cowhide palm and kangaroo leather back. Kangaroo leather is one of the finest and strongest lightweight leathers known. Its tensile strength far exceeds that of other animals. The fine texture gives the player a glove that will break-in quickly and the light weight for those who prefer a lighter weight glove. The walnut cowhide leather gives the glove the added support for retaining its shape.

Outstanding glove for the serious player
This is definitely one of the highest quality gloves I have ever bought, and I've been playing baseball/softball for quite some time. It was finally time to retire my Louisville Slugger TPX after 10+ years and felt like trying something new. I am extremely happy with this purchase. First, a few points: 1) this glove is very expensive, so it is only for serious players. Novices will get a much better value from a glove under $100. 2) The kangaroo leather is extremely soft, and ONLY IS USED FOR THE BACK. The inside of the glove is still walnut-stained cowhide leather. The kangaroo leather by itself is probably not sturdy enough to support the shape, and that's where the cowhide comes into play. Both leathers are top-notch quality. The seems are solid, leather-lace stitched. 3) This glove is absolutely gorgeous. That may not matter to some people but to me it makes a statement. 4) The glove is very easy to break in. It is slightly hard brand new, but softens very quickly after a couple hours of use. 4) The best way to treat the glove (break it in) is with Vaseline (this is recommended by Nokona). The glove comes with an explicit warning NOT TO heat the glove in the oven or microwave (some people do this). Doing so voids the warranty. Cons: 1) Price 2) Hard to find in open-web. I prefer open web as opposed to mesh or closed web. 3) The thumb loop on the inside is weak, its only a thin strip of leather. A better strip to hold the thumb in place would have been nice.
All in all, this is highly recommended if you can afford it. The glove is not really that much lighter than if it were all cowhide, so for weight, it is about average. Happy playing!
