Customer Reviews
Works for us
We have been using BioBags for about two years now and have been very satisfied with their performance. We use them to line a small covered waste pail, which we call a "cootie bin." We close the bag and empty the pail about once a week, throwing the bag into our compost pile. The bags break down very nicely and fairly quickly. The one thing we have to look out for is that the bags can start to break down in the pail if too much moisture makes it in with the waste and the temperature in the house is warm. I can tell you that's not a mess you clean up more than once. As long as we don't leave the bag in the pail too long, things are fine.
Very, very thin
During the brief time I used these bags, at least half of the time the bag either tore or leaked. I'm all for "going green", but unless you're very delicate with your garbage, only placing perfectly dry and very soft/flexible/amorphous items in your kitchen garbage can, these just don't hold up to what I would consider typical and reasonable use.
Biobags are a great solution for landfill problems
I have been using Biobags fo years. I use the small 3 gall. size for my diaper pail. I use biodegradable Diapers and I didn't want a non-degradable bag wrapped around them. I also use the tall kitchen garbage bags. These bags are great, but you have to use common sense. You can't stuff these full until they are about to burst, and if there are a lot of moist things in your trash (i.e. wet diapers) the bags start breaking down after a couple of days. Although, I wish the bags had a way to self-tie, this is a really great product.
