This primer, released 10 years ago, offers an accessible lesson that all young people should hear. The principal author narrates like the self-assured celebrity he is but does not sound like a professional. However, this is still an important audio because of Lynch's grasp of why certain companies are successful and how to find them. His advice on methods for selecting stocks is priceless and curiously challenging--he promotes activism and involvement rather than simply dictating his way of doing things. The abridgment is seamless, making the production short enough for the typical young person's attention span and in-your-face enough to make young people think hard about where they're putting their money. Nothing new here
Having listened to Peter Lynch's "One Up On Wall Street" and "Beating the Street," I found this tape to offer almost nothing new except improved narration from Peter Lynch. You're better off getting one of his earlier works.
