I launched an online support group for the now-trademarked Normal Eating method in 2002 (originally a Yahoo Group) and created NormalEating.com in 2003. When Koenig's book was released in 2005, many people mixed us up. Our methods are not completely incompatible, but nor are they exactly the same. Koenig's is based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Mine draws from many areas, CBT being just one.
