About the Author
Steve McCoy-Thompson is co-founder of the Boys of Breakfast men's faith group in Pleasanton, California and president of Community to People, a non-profit micro bridge lending organization. He has authored numerous articles on business concerns and change leadership as well as two books, Weather Boy: A Story of D-Day and Journey into Belief, which details the story of his conversion to Christianity. McCoy-Thompson holds degrees from Duke University and the Fletcher School at Tufts University. A successful businessman and parish leader, he lives with his wife Meri and their children, Matthias and Marie, in the San Francisco Bay area.
Randy Haykin is an accomplished Silicon Valley entrepreneur and venture capitalist, who has been involved in numerous start-ups such as Yahoo, Overture, eCircles, and My eLife. He has also been a spiritual leader in his community in the Bay Area, forming the first men's group Boys of Breakfast in 2001, after himself converting from Judaism to Catholicism. Randy graduated from Brown University with a degree in Organizational Behavior and Management, and also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Randy is on the Leadership Council for the American Cancer Society and is on the Board of Governors for Opportunity International, an organization that works with impoverished entrepreneurs in 29 countries around the world through micro-lending and social entrepreneurship. Randy's primary focus in life is his marriage to Patty of 20+ years, and being a great dad for his three daughters: Elise, Julianna, and Kayla.
