Buy used from: $19.99 I couldn't choose just one book from this set. This series makes up a not insignificant part the bedrock of modern science fiction. The Internet is nothing compared to the Encyclopedia Galactica.

 | Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Buy used from: $33.48 As with all good Science Fiction, this is more about characters and people than science. The story is nothing less than inspiring. The ending left me totally breathless. This is probably my favorite Sci-Fi book of all time.
