Every child needs a sturdy see-thru backpack and we highly recommend this backpack as the ideal combination of afford ability and durability. This bag is made out of 0.25mm transparent vinyl and is held together with a durable 3.5mm black piping that runs along the sides of the bag. The bottom of this backpack is made of 600 denier polyester to withstand wear and tear. The backpack is sewn together with nylon thread so that temperature fluctuations do not damage the bag and it remains intact whether the climate is freezing or tropical.

Flimsy zipper
Just purchased the bag which I wanted for its see-through quality and in the 1st week the zipper on the outside pocket broke. This week, the bottom of the bag started to split open at the corner seam. I thought I'd be able to use the bag for at least a year. Don't buy it unless you just want to waste your money.

A Review From an 8th Grader
I am in 8th grade and my new school made us all get clear backpacks (Ugh) So I ordered this one. It's pretty small lengthwise >.< But it can hold 4 spiral notebooks, a binder, and 3 books :) Plus the front and side pockets come in handy. So if you need a clear backpack, and in grades K-8, I'd definetly recommend this one.

Incorrect size listed in description!!
I purchased this for my nephew who has permission to use a backpack during school hours as long as it is clear. The one he had broke so I found this one and ordered it. When it was delivered it was too small. I double checked the size on Amazon and the one delivered was was not that size. I called Bag Republic and after reviewing everything I was told that the dimensions listed on Amazon are wrong!!! The only positive part was I just wanted to return the bag and get my money back. They told me keep the bag since it was their error and I would get my refund (which I received confirmation that it is in progress). I do, however, find it disturbing that they found out days ago that the size was listed incorrectly on Amazon but no one has changed it yet.
